Scared of Poo

Ok so this is my first post ever on anything so bare with we as I can be quite thick .  we did a double at the cinema other night, seeing The Lookout and Good Luck Chuck. I liked Good Luck Chuck more, as it was amazingly funny at the beginning. With so many jokes and stupid things said and done it was hilarious, but towards the end of the film it was just too slow and I found myself just wanting it to end. If it finished a half hour earlier that would have been an awesome film.

So on Friday night I decided to go and see one of my most anticipated films of 2007, yes part of the double feature (but not outside the USA) Grindhouse, the film they call “Planet Terror”. So first of all let me give you some background information, I’ve always considered myself to be a bigger Rodriguez fan than a Tarantino fan, by the time I’d seen Reservoir Dogs I’d already seen and loved Desperado, The Faculty and From Dusk ‘Til Dawn (yes, I know Tarantino wrote it). If you know me, you know I’m a big Transformers nerd (along with most things from the 80′s) so I walked into the cinema last Saturday knowing that the film wouldn’t be able to recapture that feeling I used to have when I was a young lad.  Boy was I wrong.  I sat through the entire film just taking in the beautiful sight that was the film, the effects, the characters.  The film did have it’s fault, but none big enough to detract from the simple awesomeness of the film.

I could write more, but then I feel i’d be going into spoiler’s territory.
