You know what?

I hate people who walk into shops in the last fifteen minutes that they are open, it pisses me off.

On a happier note, congratulations to Martin Scorsese for getting a best director Oscar that he has deserved for many years now.

Erm, yeah that’s pretty much all I can think to say right now.

I Am Animal, Party Animal!

So this past week I’ve been out three times, the first one was out to a Movie Quiz at the Showroom, the second was to cheer up Gemma because she lost her job, by going bowling and the second was the work’s do to The Sheriff’s Lodge in Nottingham.

The quiz was great and my team (I feel right in calling it my team as I confidently answered at least half the questions on my own) scored 22 points out of 30 (23 if you count the one Shez cheated to get). But even though we got a reasonable score we still lost, to some gits who scored 30 out of 30. Ahwell, the night made me realise that I need to hang out with my mates more often and the best part of the night had to be when the staff dude tried to work out our named, which by the way was a Happy Gilmore reference. Our team was named “But Grizzly Adams Did Have A Beard” :D

So the bowling was very fun, it was great to once again hang out with the guys and talk about random things, mainly sexual things. The conversations were weird and fun, although possibly the weirdest part was me getting my first and only strike, while bowling left handed (and filming it with my new camcorder).

Now on to the Staff Part, it was fun in a few respects but when you worked out the cost, the food just didn’t add up to expectation. But apart from that it was just fun to hang out with people from work and I realised once again that when some of my colleagues get a little drunk, they act just like I do when i’m sober or at work, which is weird when you think about it.

Anyways i should have posted this a week ago, ahwell here it is now.

He Made Me An Offer I Couldn’t Refuse

So after a discussion with The Don today at work I realised I should get round to recomending more films to you people. So i’ve been thinking of a film to recomend, but so much has been running through my head should it be a obscure but thoughful film, should it be a underated classic, or should it be just a ultimate fountain of randomness. So that just makes it more difficult, so right now I am literally looking at my DVD collection trying to find a film to talk about.

Ok, I’ve got one and the film I’m gonna recomend to you is “Dogma“. As you may or may not know Kevin Smith (the director/writer of Dogma and many other AWESOME films) is a genius, especially in this masterpiece of cinema. Its just so funny, clever and brings up the kinda story Da Vinci Code brings up way before that was popular. Lets talk cast, its Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes as Silent Bob and Jay (Great characters), Chris Rock, Jason Lee (of My Name Is Earl fame, although he was great before this), Alan Rickman, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon….. Its a great cast of great comedy and polished performers which does actually translate into a very entertaining film.

So watch it and enjoy.
